Fibre Reinforced Concrete StorageYard with Drainage Channels
BHC designed and installed a new concrete fibre re-inforced storage yard for Ian Craig Haulage contractor.
This type of reinforced concrete yard has been developed by BHC to perform well in areas subjected to heavy traffic.
This facility is used for storage of various goods including bricks, prior to transporting on to merchants.
The concrete was layed in mass pours at rate of almost 500m³ per day. The close-up photograph shows the fibre reinforcement.
